Aid for African Women & Girls (A2WG) collects information submitted through this Petition Hub.
Name, email address, country/state or broad location, optional organisation or affiliation, display preference, consent records, optional comment, and technical anti-abuse details such as IP address and browser information.
To record public support, manage petitions, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, prepare advocacy summaries or validated petition submissions, and communicate petition updates where separate consent is provided.
Only the supporter display option chosen by the signer may be shown publicly. Email addresses are never displayed publicly. Optional comments are not published automatically and may be edited, anonymised, rejected, or escalated for safeguarding/privacy review.
Authorised A2WG staff or administrators may access full signer records. Target institutions may receive summary statistics or validated petition packs where needed for advocacy submission. Public pages show only approved, privacy-protective information.
A2WG defines retention needs for each campaign. Petition signatures and consent logs should be reviewed after petition closure and retained only for documented advocacy, accountability, legal, or reporting needs.
Contact A2WG through its official contact channel and identify the petition you signed. A2WG reviews correction, withdrawal, deletion, or objection requests according to its data protection process.
The module uses consent records, access-restricted admin pages, prepared database queries, CSRF protection, duplicate checks, spam controls, export logging, and audit logs. Exports should be stored securely and accessed only by authorised users.
Please do not submit names, phone numbers, addresses, school names, family details, case details, photos, or information that could identify a child, survivor, woman at risk, pregnant adolescent, accused person, or unsafe location.
By signing this petition, I consent to A2WG collecting and processing the information I provide for the purpose of recording public support, managing this petition, communicating petition updates where I allow it, and preparing advocacy submissions. I understand that I can request correction, withdrawal, or deletion of my data by contacting A2WG.
